Painting is my creative passion. I have been working with soft pastels for six years. Recently I have been enjoying a renewed relationship with oil painting.
The subjects which most often capture my imagination are those found in nature. Color, light, or compositional form will draw my attention and from that vantage point a thematic journey begins.
For me there is an essential emotional peace and connectedness I encounter only through experiencing nature. My joy is to convey something of that serenity through my work.
